Forest Dive

A poem about a great escape

Photo by Gabriele Stravinskaite on Unsplash

Before the sunset, I’ve arrived
Artemis, draw your archers back
I chose the wildlife

who could not
who that has undergone
the roads
the castles
men and rules of men

they are no more
each time I enter the forest
